About Us.

As of Fall 2018, the Pre-Optometric Association at San Jose State University has been revamped, rebranded, and renewed as a recognized organization on campus. (note: we were formally known as the SJSU Optometry club).

We are a student ran organization at San Jose State University. Our goal is to compile resources for students interested in applying to optometry school. Every month, there is a general meeting where we will discuss optometry school pre-requisities, announce future events, bring in guest speakers from schools nationwide, host OAT practice sessions, practice mock interviews, and much more. If you are interested in being an officer for the next school year, please inquire early on in the semester. Club officers will be refreshed annually, every summer prior to the start of the fall semester.
